The "Art Deco" era was born in the 20's, creators introduced geometrical shapes along with brilliant combinations of bright colors, the creation of jewelry finally became an art.
The origin of the term "Art Deco" goes back to the International Exhibition of Decorative and Industrial Arts held in Paris in 1925.
The artists gathered together are all distinguished by the modernity of their creations: whether it is the goldsmith jeweler Jean DESPRES, jewelers such as Jean FOUQUET, Gérard SANDOZ, Raymond TEMPLIER, Jeanne BOIVIN and Suzanne BELPERRON, Louis BOUCHERON or the Maison MAUBOUSSIN.

Diverted, revisited, they influence and inspire all the great jewelers of this time, such as BOIVIN, BOUCHERON, CARTIER, CHAUMET, DUSAUSOY, FOUQUET, MARCHAK, MAUBOUSSIN, Paul and Raymond TEMPLIER, VAN CLEEF & ARPELS.
